Taxis in Oslo
Despite the higher price, taxis in Oslo are a very easy and fast way of getting around the city.
The price of taxis in Oslo is the most expensive out of all the European capital cities, including the likes of London, Amsterdam, Brussels and Berlin. We recommend using taxis for short distances or if you want to get somewhere quickly without too much fuss.
In general, the majority of taxi drivers speak English and also accept cash and cards.

Airport rate
Although this is not a fixed rate, the journey from Gardermoen Airport to the city centre usually costs around € 100 (US$ 116.82). Please note that if you arrive early in the morning or in the middle of the night, the price will be higher.
