Where to Stay in Oslo
Hotels and apartments in Oslo are more expensive than those in other European capital cities. As a result, it can be quite difficult to find anywhere to stay for less than € 100 (US$ 108.30) a night. Our advice? Book your accommodation in Oslo as early as possible.
Where to stay in Oslo
The best option for staying in Oslo is right in the heart of the city, where you'll find varying price points for a range of different types of accommodation. As well as this, it's a lively and accessible part of the town from practically any part of the city. In the surrounding area of the National Theatre, the Cathedral and the Central Station you'll also find hotels that aren't too expensive, but still be able to enjoy the perks of a great central location.
If you don't mind staying a bit outside the city centre, be sure to check out options in other neighbourhoods like Frogner and Grünerløkka. As these aren't tourist areas, the amount of accommodation on offer is much less. However, if you put a bit of time and effort into looking for somewhere to stay around these areas, you'll be sure to find a somewhat more "affordable" price.
Another option is to stay even further outside the city centre where there are even fewer options, but more attractive prices.
